Did anyone hear what les ross said today on wm before the 1.30 pm sports section.

wm sports presenter "our first report on birmingham city "

les ross   "well thats rubbish"

imo.

this bloke has no interest in football and should not broadcast comments like this across  the  city where hes made his name.
lack of respect.

I think you've got your lines crossed mate!!

a) Tom Ross if anything is ultra biased towards the Blues.

B) He works for Gold not WM.

c) WM as a general rule tend to give greater coverage to the Vile and at least one of the presenters is a fee paying Yam Yam!!

You're getting confused, Garcon. Les Ross and Tom Ross are two very different people. Les works for WM and has no interest at all in football and Tom works for Gold and hosts the sports programmes.

Note quite right ...

Les Ross and Tom Ross are two very different people. Les works for WM and has no interest at all in football and is not a journalist and Tom works for Gold and hosts the sports programmes and (in my opinion) thinks he is a journalist

Les Ross, boaring train spotter, now reduced to boaring heights of the BCC local radio, Oh remember the great highlights of his career at BRMB. :boohoo: Now a has - been DJ who struggles to make a living in the last job he could get at WM. Harsh he started it so fair game in my book. I love my Club and I don`t like no marks like him rubbising it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What? No marks like Les Ross M.B.E.?

You ought to calm down, can't be good for your blood pressure getting this angry over what is nothing more than a bit of banter.

If we were in the top 6 then you'd laugh off his remarks, but the truth hurts, eh? ;)

I won a phone in competition on the Les Ross Show when the station first opened. I had to phone him 3 times before he finally sent me my prize..... 2 guineas and a Richard Harris LP titled 'My Boy', which I still have but only ever played it once. :)
